With all my friends out of town for the holidays, I've been left to entertain myself. Have done a lot of walking around, taking care of year end loose ends (still doing that), and fiddling with my new iphone (Thanks mom, dad, and brother!).
Walking around the West Village, found this amazing store full of mid-century ceramics (and some furniture). They have a blog too.

Yes, I know this is a lame post after a week of absence. But really... its worth it.
If you're looking for a laugh, this post is just for you.
Check out White Lightning. Pretty hilarious blog.
Andy Samberg is brilliant.

In preparation for the holidays, I've been elfin' around. (haha) But elfin' around in a productive way. Worked up my holiday card, here are some shots of the "production of the photoshoot."
And the final card....
I'm also making my gifts, peppermint bark! numnumnum
Also, as a custom order, I'm made a couple of these holiday cards for someone. So last night and tonight, I've been making waves with polar bears. (In addition to rewiring my Bernina sewing machine... yikes! but it works now!!!)

Apartment Therapy recently did a view into Seonna Hong's home. At times like this, I wish I lived back in L.A. or somewhere with space. Click here to view her beautiful home and her collection of artwork.

Helped Gilbert Ford paint a wintery wonderland, photo backdrop. Its to be used for a "biblio ball" by a group of New York Librarians and other bookish types called the Desk Set.
Some of Gilbert's other snazzy illustrations.

Having a viable outlet to create your own fabrics can be inspiring.
Spoonflower is based out of North Carolina and there is no minimum order and only $18 per yard!
Maybe you too can create something as wonderful as Steve did (although this isn't through Spoonflower, inspiring enough to make me want to make my own).

My thank yous are a little late, but better late than never. But I figure what better day than the day after thanksgiving, with my belly full and 20 lbs heavier then the day before.
Thanks to Samantha for the recent post about my work and for meeting up at our new favorite, local bar.
Here are some of her awesome patterns.
Many thanks to Caroline Stanley at Flavorwire (and recently departed GenArt) for all the shout outs and support.
Also, if you're in Brooklyn go by this indoor holiday market. I'm gonna have a hard time not doing any shopping for myself, maybe I'll leave my wallet at home. Mociun, Alyson Fox, Lena Corwin, and many more will be selling their wares, some one of a kind and many discounted!

New Print! This print will be on sale on my website tonight at 7pm. The image is a flag from my Nautical Signaling Flag series.

Edition of 30, handpulled
It will also be shown and sold at Open Space Beacon for their annual Print and Zine show. That show opens Dec. 13th.
I think its been over 5 years now that I've been looking for the perfect duvet cover, I've searched near and far and have come up with nothing... And now, I have found a solution. Well, finally found the perfect print for my solution... I've decided to make my own duvet cover and this Marimekko Lumimarja print seems so perfect. Now to decide on which color....
This is the one I really want that I found on ebay, but its too small...

Jill Bliss and Saelee Oh's Collaborative works are up on display at Tinlark Gallery in Los Angeles. The space looks like walking into the world of Jill and Saelee, full of whimsy, delicacy, and happiness.
I love these set up shots!
