A day in Paris

I have a couple of things I can't say no to, coffee and food being my top two. So when Anna invited us out to brunch at Egg, I leaped and jumped to go.

Anna, an amazing photographer (if you haven't seen here work you should, duh), has been doing a project with YSL Parisienne where she and several other bloggers are being sent around the country. Here are a couple of shots from our brunch, check out the blog to see more.

"my fabd ib habing down..."

the other night i flipped to thirteen (pbs in new york) and started watching the Mark Twain Prize for Humor honoring Bill Cosby. my only memory of bill cosby was the cosby show and I absolutely loved it, but this 1983 skit about dentists is exactly how i feel about dentists...

behind the scenes

when i was in junior high, i wanted to be a set designer. for movies, broadway shows, everything. i think that's where i got my love for installation work. that's why i love that the crafts dept. of martha stewart posted some behind the scenes photos of their halloween episode. it looks so cool, i envy their jobs.

so good to be GOOD

Have you seen the new issue of GOOD magazine? Its far beyond good, its pretty freakin' awesome.

I admit it, I look at pictures rather than reading the articles in magazines. I do judge a book by its cover, and in this case this cover leapt out at me and screamed "BUY ME!" Each page is filled with paper sculpture illustrations that look like it was so much fun to make. Now, all I have to do is start reading it... I have my weekly 3.5 hour ride down to Baltimore today and I think that's what I'll do.

These necklaces would be perfect for that spot of color in my grey, black, and blue wardrobe.
