I've always been a big fan of 60s R&B/soul, even before I knew what it was. Anyone from Etta James to Sam Cooke to Archie Bell... I used to rent movies just to hear the music. Thanks to the internet and Time-Life infomercials, my music knowledge has grown. Now, with the resurgence of that 60s sound, Raphael Saadiq (from Tony Toni Toné! remember?!) has put out "The way I see it" and I like what he sees...
