Geo Domes



I want to make one!






(this is an amazing website, vancouver art in the sixties.)
Maybe I'll follow this and one day make one in my one day backyard.

So, since you've clearly caught the Buckminster Fuller bug, check out this OWL DOME designed by architects Tallman & Koch. You're going to LOVE THIS THING.

I had the good fortune to met these two at their famed off-the-grid desert itHouse (see my blog today for pics- the house is unbelievable!) over the weekend and they were talking about this owl project- they approached the project by thinking, how would Buckminster Fuller design an owl house in the urban environment? Pretty cool what they came up with:
