My community...

I recently got a plot in my Community Garden, after living here for 5 years... One of the many pleasures of Spring in New York and of New York itself. I still have my rooftop garden growing, but am very excited to get to know my neighbors.




This is my plot, #19, the shady one. Started to grow some basil, beets, green onions, cilantro, brussel sprouts. I hope to grow some tomatoes and some flowers too.

These beautiful tulips and daffodils were cut from the garden as well.


Also in my neighborhood, the Brooklyn Flea and Mr. Softee outside of the flea.

Must have of the summer in my neighborhood: Habana Outpost's frozen mojitos. YUM!
